Gina Caveda has been part of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation for the past 40 years. She is from North Vancouver and continues to reside in the area. She has a legal secretary college certificate, an adjudication certificate for Person’s with Disability adjudication as well as an Executive Assistant certificate. Her experience comes from the positions she has held within various First Nation organizations over the past 15 years. She worked for the First Nations Social Development Society for 10 years managing and adjudicating the Person’s with Disability Program for all First Nations bands in BC and then moved to FNHA where she arranged and managed medical transportation for First Nations. Her current position with FNHIC is Office Manager, Bookkeeper and support to the Board Members. Gina is excited to be working with the team at FNHIC and working to improve housing and infrastructure for First Nations in BC. Gina loves spending time with her husband, her 3 children and 6 grandchildren as well as travelling and experiencing new cultures, photography, reading and cross stitching.
