A Grassroots Housing and Infrastructure Service Organization

Our Vision
Our vision is to ensure that every First Nations person has secure and culturally appropriate housing that supports our well-being, fosters community resilience, and supports the health of families for future generations.
Our Mission
We believe that all First Nations people deserve a safe and comfortable place to call home, and we are dedicated to making that dream a reality. No First Nations will be left behind.
Our Mandate
FNHIC-BC was formally established in the fall of 2017 in response to a political mandate from the members of the BC First Nations Leadership Council, with resolutions from BC Assembly of First Nations, First Nations Summit, and Union of BC Indian Chiefs. FNHIC is a grassroots housing and infrastructure service organization working to serve the needs of our people. We provide services to empower First Nations to do their own best work.
Governance
FNHIC is all about community and collaboration. It belongs to, and is governed by, all First Nations in BC. Every initiative and every stride forward, is fuelled by our collective dedication to serving our people.
