Rhonda Elliott, Xununum'quntunaat, is a Cowichan Tribes member located on Vancouver Island, BC.
She has 23+ years of experience working in indigenous housing, specializing in training, mentoring, and managing housing programs and services. She desires to enhance her capacity and develop knowledge of supporting nations in the housing sector. Rhonda successfully completed the Housing Manager Course at Vancouver Island University, which inspired her to further her education. Rhonda recently completed her master's Degree in Indigenous Business and Leadership at Simon Fraser University and holds her FNHP destination with First Nation Housing Association. Rhonda also sits on the board of directors for Hiiye'yu Lelum- Housing of Friendship.
Rhonda's passion is assisting nations across BC in empowering housing professionals and leadership to run efficient, culturally aware housing services for their communities. When Rhonda is not busy devoting her time and energy to housing and community programs, she loves spending her time with her family, which includes 4 children and five beautiful grandchildren.
